Locanda Vivaldi

The Locanda Vivaldi, is beautifully restored, beautifully appointed and very well managed by Claudio Vecchiato. The hotel is comprised of two buildings, one 15th century and the other 17th century, with a small garden in between. The building fronting on the Grand Canal , was the place where Vivaldi lived and composed his music.
Some rooms face the Grand Canal , and some the side canal, where there is a private dock for water taxi's to deliver guests to the hotel. Rooms are beautifully appointed with upholstered walls, white marble bathrooms with either hydro massage tub, or shower, minibar, in-room safe, and satellite television. Room 302 is a beautiful junior suite facing the Grand Canal . Where possible in the restoration, original floors have been preserved. The staircase is light and airy with large leaded glass windows. There is a breakfast room and during summer months breakfast is served on the roof terrace facing the Grand Canal .
NOTE: SAN ZACCARIA is the closest stop for guests taking the public vaporetto. The hotel has a private dock for water taxis

The living-room is very bright with big windows and has a beautiful view of the Rialto Bridge. Ideal for two couples with two children. Highly recommended.
